In Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on Tuesday night, a dispute broke out between two parties over a car collision. The police who arrived after being informed about the dispute had a tough time trying to stop the situation. A youth grabbed the inspector by the collar. He tore his uniform. He even manhandled the inspector. The inspector was accompanied by only one constable.
However, the inspector and the constable did not lose courage. They kept holding the accused. When the force arrived from the police station, four people were taken into custody. A case has been registered against all of them. The video of the assault on the inspector is going viral on social media.
The case is of Balajipuram of Highway police station area. The incident took place at Balajipuram crossing of Highway police station area. At around 11 pm, a police inspector and a constable reached here on the information of a fight. When they reached the spot, Neeraj’s car hit the scooter of Balajipuram councilor Dinesh.
After this, there was a lot of uproar. There is an old political rivalry between the two parties. After this, there was heavy stone pelting. As soon as the police reached the spot, a young man clashed with the inspector. He caught the inspector’s collar and started fighting. The constable tried to drag the said young man into the car.
The argument went on for a long time. Police force from many police stations including SP City Dr. Arvind Kumar reached the spot late at night. Peace was restored at the spot. Four people were taken into custody. Police has filed a case of murderous attack against four people. SP City said that the matter is being investigated.
